![]() ![]() I'm just saying I'm not disappointed that I took the chance with the $17, and wanted to post about it since the product description of the so-called lite version is just a total mindfk. If I had seen everyones comments about Unison/DM on here and youtube, I probably would have never clicked the ad in the first place. FPC has a lot of patterns, drum kits, and styles, which are all nice, but a lot of them aren't very useful for the type of stuff that I am doing. I will say that all of the AI/Random MIDI Sequencing plugins I've bought and tried (Melody Sauce 2, InstaComposer, InstaChord, Captain Plugins Epic, Drum Monkey) are functionally more superior than any of the stock randomizing features I've been able to find use in FL. I think Unison is a pretty scummy company and Sep really annoys me for some reason, the douche vibes come through. Honestly, I wish I would have bought the Captain Chords set, above all of the AI/Generator tools I've tried. Not $250 worth of features, but $17 is a steal. I like using these generators more as a learning tool, and something to get inspiration from, and really this thing has a lot of features. Besides the damn animation, I wish I could turn that off. Don't get me wrong I would have NEVER in a million years paid $250 for it, but for $17 its really not bad. I don't know if this was intentional, if they're just too lazy to make an actual Lite version and hope that comparing the one Genre for $17 or all of them for $250 will make you think the Lite version must be missing a lot and you'll get the pro, I don't really know but I know it ALMOST had that effect on me, like I thought "Gee if theres such a price difference this Lite version must really suck" but because of the money back guarantee I got it anyway. Whether or not its still like that, I don't know. I saw the monkey back guarantee so I bit and bought Drum Monkey Lite.ĭrum Monkey Lite turned out to be full Drum Monkey. Which I ended up doing because I was given two offers: "Drum Monkey Lite" which was SUPPOSED to be access to ONE genre, forever for $17 or the "Drum Monkey Pro" which was the full version. I was taken to one of those sales funnels with way too much information, except for the price - trying to guilt trip me into buying it. The other day I was on an alternative Chrome profile and on YouTube and some Drum Monkey promo came up. So I didn't know a thing about Unison, like I have had YouTube Premium for a few months so I haven't seen any of the ads before. So I wanted to make a post about this, because it might be helpful to someone.
